had only 6 people turn up in the end. moreover, the supposedly delicious zhu chao place at Tiong Bahru has been replaced by this empty coffee shop which also sells zhu chao and zha chai fan (! teochew porridge as corrected by the serving auntie)
as a starter/side dish, we ordered prawn paste balls (hei zhou) which was terrible … it was literally fish cake!
decided to then try the “teochew” porridge instead … which also turned out to be lack lustre …
the auntie after having realised that we had “tricked” her into thinking we were eating zhu chao but in the end ate “teochew” porridge was visibly annoyed with us … aiyo …
work today was so-so … not much for me to really do if I look at it … there is an ITQ for me to start but that will only begin tmr after the briefing … spent time clearing up my folders and making sure it’s all uploaded to the collaboration tool …
looking forward to be leaving Singapore already … now I am pending my work certificate from China before I can apply for my Visa … waitin’ patiently.
