Flat Battery

I forgot to turn of the headlights this morning and the car battery went dead!

My mum was trying to get into the car at Tiong Bahru but was unable to open the car with the remote control. She thought it was the remote control at fault, however, later when I joined her from my dinner with my grand parents, I realised that the car battery had ran dead due to the headlights being left on.

We both did not know how to rectify the problem, so we called Automobile Association of Singapore for help. They sent their personnel within 15 mins to jump start the car. We were told to leave the car on for at least 1/2 hour to charge up the battery again.

At least now we know what to do in the event of a breakdown. AA is indeed very responsive.

It’s durian season and I am eating quite a bit of durians. :)

Have you gotten your iPhone 3.0? It’s great, just that the video function should really have been turned on. oh well …
