I have complete the book “12 Simple Secrets to happiness: Finding joy in everyday relationships”. It was a good read and the book was good in that it provided many quotes about happiness, attitudes towards each other, and about relationships. A very light hearted book which provides good insights.
The Economist missed an issue this week. I am perturbed by this. Had they forgotten about me? Had someone stole my magazine from the letterbox? It had become habitual to me to have a weekly dose of the Economist (in printed form) since I was in JC, that I feel that something is lacking. Very upsetting! If it does not get delivered, I must feedback to them.
Next week is going to be a busy week with lots of things to accomplish and a few key decisions to make.
I have seriously mulling over how to explore opportunities to move over to Shanghai. I am exploring various options with my company. Mapping out the various scenarios to see how each will pan out. Ultimately, it was one question: What is your intention? that got me on the right track again. All the scenarios wouldn’t pay out such that I spend majority or all my time in Shanghai, which is where I want to be. If that e the case, then the best option I believe would be a clean break from Singapore and to go over to Shanghai to start things a fresh. Will decide soon over the next couple of days!
