It was my first time at a facial treatment. I had went with my mum and auntie to St Gregory’s Spa. Usually I did a massage, but this time round I tried a facial treatment, in hope of getting rid of some residual scars from my chicken pox. Sighs!
The facial was very relaxing. It was interesting also because the therapist, was very diligent to explain the process and what they were using for the treatment. The interesting part was also how they use scents – lavender, mint, rose wood – to enhance the whole experience. I don’t think my scars got any better, but I liked the treatment as a whole. The extraction portion where they pinch of blackheads and stuff was painful, but she only did that for a bit for fear of overdoing it on my “virgin” face. =)
The massage on the face and head was very good and I felt so relaxed that I drifted in and out of slumber.
Will I go back for a facial? Probably not.
I realize that I only really liked the massage. I’m a massage person and I rather be kneaded and pressed. That relaxes me and takes away stress and etc …
Where is a good place that has good ambience? I miss Shanghai (i.e. China) for the cheaper massages.
