I have been so dumb to use them for 8 years since 2001.
Pacific Internet (PacNet) has bad service and support.
First you have to beg them to send you a contract renewal. Pacific Internet (PacNet) rather you forgot about the renewal, so they can unwittingly slip in very high charges for pitiful broadband monthly to you. This happens, especially so if you are on Giro payment, so you don’t take too much notice of the payment.
When you ask them why the price had increased, Pacific Internet (PacNet) would either say that they had a system glitch and the renewal form was not sent out or they would inform you that their wonderful Pacific Internet (PacNet) system had indeed send out the renewal to you 3 months ago. (It says so in their system! Who would ever, ever know!) Pacific Internet (PacNet) would then blame you for not responding in time and slap you with high internet charges.
When you try to terminate, they insist on their corporate policy of charging you termination charges, then they insist on charging you the exorbitant rates. Pacific Internet (PacNet) is really pissing me off.
People warn others about going to you Sing Net cos’ of the down time issues, but I warn you about Pacific Internet (PacNet) because of the service issue. Use at your own peril. Stay away from Pacific Internet (PacNet).
