What a deadly combination they are!
This morning as I was headed out to Simei to collect my plaque, I decided that I really did not want to waste so much time travelling to collect just a piece of wood and metal. So, I called the company up and asked if they did Courier service. They did and it was $10. Saves me the trouble of going there, the bus fare, mrt fare and taxi fare too (since the last leg of the trip I would have just taken a taxi now knowing the area well enough).
and so, I changed my plans and headed off to Ikea earlier than scheduled. Which was really fine, as the crowds were not in yet and I could have my “brunch” at the restaurant, having my delicious Chicken Wings, some meatballs and a nice cuppa coffee. =)
Bought a couple of things from Ikea to sort my room with. Also got a nice table lamp so I can use it as a bed side lamp, a cushion to better support my back, and a photo frame.
Next stop, Queensway. I have been meaning to purchase a new shoe to replace my old one which was a Nike Air Dunk Low from 2003. I really use my shoe to the core. It’s really time to replace it. Walk, walk, shop, shop and I finally found a shop that had nice designs I wanted. I tried one 2 pairs and ended up getting both. =)
I saw this person wearing this shoe in one of the shops and thought what a cool colour this shoe had and followed the pair of legs a bit to examine the shoe. I was pleasantly shocked and happy to see the same shoe on a rack on one of the shops. I quickly ear marked it for purchase, if there was size.
The second shoe was actually going to be a tossed between another pair, but since the other did not have size, it immediately dropped from consideration. I thought about it and both pairs of shoe were unique and had their own style, it would be a shame if I did not get them. Moreover, nothing wrong with having more shoes. It would surely come in handy for different occasions/moods. =)
After the very strenuous morning, I went back home to do even more strenuous things – clean my house!!! I’m beat!
